LAE®

LAE® (Ethyl lauroyl arginate HCl) is an effective antimicrobial preservative in a wide range of food and cosmetic products. 

LAE® is effective against bacteria, yeast, and molds. It is able to disrupt the integrity of the cell membrane of these microorganisms.

In 1995, LAMIRSA GROUP filed a patent application on the process of synthesis of Ethyl lauroyl arginate HCl, free of solvents and impurities, that are not suitable for consumer goods. Since then, the history of LAE® is the commitment to constant improvement. LAMIRSA GROUP has invested effort and dedication, to upgrading the manufacturing process and optimize the use of Ethyl lauroyl arginate HCl. Alone or combined, with other components in food and cosmetic applications, as well as in the pharmaceutical industry, as it is reported in the different granted patents. The chemical production of LAE® takes place at Laboratorios Miret S.A. (LAMIRSA).
